The publishing world is big and complicated. We get it—it’s hard to know where to start. Sometimes we can help with a little advice, but in the end, your career is your responsibility.

Pay By the Hour
Don’t be afraid. Book cover and interior design doesn’t have to cost a fortune. At Wyrd Goat, you only pay for any necessary stock plus time that I spend working on your project. And you’re always in control.

You’ll find links to our books on the Library page. Our books are offered at most major online retailers including Amazon and Barnes and Noble. You might also check at your local library. If the title you want isn’t there, feel free to request it!
Both! All of our books are available in print or ebook format. We also have an audio book, House of Goats, a memoir by Tammy Owen.
Wyrd Goat book design services are $40 per hour plus the price of any stock images. If you have a budget, I will do my best to work within that budget.
Sorry, but we don’t offer copy editing, proof reading, developmental editing, or any other editorial services. We also don’t offer ‘book doctor’ services. In some cases we may offer you a recommendation if someone in our network is accepting new clients.
We can provide references on request for the book design services we offer. You’re also welcome to look over the design portfolio, or explore more on Kamila Miller’s book design website, kzmiller.com. As far as the books we offer, just read the reviews on any major online retailer!
Although Kamila specializes in print book design, she can format your book using Vellum. Vellum is a professional ebook design program that anyone can use. Kamila encourages people to create their own ebooks to save money. However many people find such software or templates confusing or difficult to use. Kamila’s ebook formatting service is geared toward those people.
Yes please! I will need confirmation that you hold the copyright, or have purchased rights for that image. Readers often prefer that the author uses their own photography rather than stock images.
The goats, dog, cats, and other critters are all part of the Miller farm in the Columbia River Gorge.
